A Journey with a Familiar Client

This remodel marks a special chapter in our ongoing relationship with a cherished client. Nearly a decade ago, we had the privilege of designing their Art Deco kitchen, a project proudly featured in our gallery. When they approached us to reimagine their primary bathroom, we saw an opportunity to deliver another functional and elegant space.

The Challenge: Outdated and Cramped Spaces

The existing primary bathroom, last updated over 30 years ago, was small and difficult to navigate, especially with its bifold shower door. The closet space was also tight, a common issue in homes built in the 1930s. Additionally, a dated ensuite originally intended for guests or live-in help no longer served the family’s needs.

The Solution: Smart Design and Expanded Space

To unlock the true potential of the home, we eliminated the old ensuite and its adjoining living space, merging them with the primary bathroom. This strategic move allowed us to significantly increase the footprint and functionality of the new bathroom, creating a spacious and inviting retreat.

Collaboration with NRD Design

To bring this vision to life, we partnered with Nate Dodge of NRD Design, known for his modern, client-focused approach. After several design iterations and close collaboration with the homeowners, we landed on a layout that maximizes comfort and utility while maintaining a sleek, modern aesthetic.
